Our journey began in 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic a time of uncertainty and upheaval across the globe. Daily routines were disrupted, and for many, including us, access to local gyms suddenly vanished as lockdowns forced closures.
As fitness enthusiasts, we knew that training was about more than just staying in shape. For us, it has always been a vital part of our mental well-being a way to reset, stay focused, and feel a sense of achievement after every session. Exercise isn't just a habit it’s a lifestyle.
Faced with the loss of our usual training space, we decided to take matters into our own hands. We began sourcing as much equipment as possible and transformed our garage into a fully functioning home gym. It wasn’t easy, but the result was worth every challenge.
Over the next two to three years, we discovered something even more valuable than convenience. We gained quality time. With no commute to the gym, no monthly memberships, and no waiting for equipment, we were able to involve our entire family. Our partners who hadn’t previously shown much interest in training began to love it. Even the kids joined in.
What began as a necessity soon became a lifestyle shift. We no longer felt the guilt of leaving our young children for extended gym sessions. Instead, we trained just steps away from them, blending our passion for fitness with the joy of being present at home.
Looking back, building a home gym was one of the best decisions we've ever made. It may not seem like a major change, but it completely transformed our lives. And now, we’re passionate about helping others do the same.
